As a charter or Owner of a vessel, it is important to ascertain the vessel's bunker quantities at the start and close of a charter period.
Therefore, our surveyors will carry out an on-hire survey on delivery and an off-hire survey on redelivery, by sounding the tanks, calculate and certify the quantity of fuel remaining on board.
Above mentioned surveys are helpful to avoid disputes between Owner and Charter and can be of assistance to substantiate claims.

To establish the exact quantity of fuel on board, our surveyors will physically measure and temperature all fuel tanks and compare the ascertained quantities with the declared logbook and arrival figures.
